Charlton Baker & Wansbroughs Solicitors assist Charles S Winchcombe & Son Ltd in acquiring a Funeral Directors Business in Marlborough.

During their annual accounts review meeting with Anthony Brown of Charlton Baker, Charles and Paula Winchcombe discussed an opportunity to purchase, at short-notice, a Funeral Director business in Marlborough and Pewsey which had just become available. Charles S Winchcombe & Son Ltd began trading in 1932 and moved to Devizes in the 1960s. Now run by Charles and Paula together with their son Philip they continue to provide a high quality 24 hour personal service for all funeral and memorial requirements, combining traditional values with modern technology taking this family business into the twenty first century.

The business acquired was that of Thomas Free and Sons Ltd and Anthony recommended the services of Wansbroughs Solicitors who very quickly provided expert legal assistance.
