Today, HM Revenue & Customs do make random enquiries into tax affairs, without giving a reason. Any individual or business owner could face a lengthy, detailed investigation, so we offer a tax investigation service for a small annual fee. Payment for this service protects our clients from having to pay for any fees incurred with us, in dealing with any 'full' or 'aspect' tax investigations with HMRC, on their behalf. Aspect enquiries are where HMRC only look at certain aspects of the tax return or accounts. These types of enquires are becoming more and more common, and can lead to full enquires.
