Supporting our communities

As a regional firm, we believe we have a responsibility to contribute positively to the areas where we live and work.

We support a range of charities and community organisations through sponsorships, fundraising and hands‑on involvement from our teams. These partnerships reflect both local need and the causes our people genuinely care about.

Across the year, our offices take part in fundraising activities, sponsored events and community initiatives.

Giving our time

We believe time can be just as valuable as financial support.

Every member of our team is offered two paid volunteering days each year, enabling them to support charities, schools or community organisations that matter to them.

Our people currently contribute to their communities in a variety of roles, including acting as treasurers, trustees, governors, coaches and mentors

Creating access to the profession

We are committed to widening access to accountancy and professional services.

We offer a range of early‑career opportunities designed to provide real experience, insight and confidence, including:

  • Work experience placements
  • Student placements (including T‑Level industry placements)
  • Paid internships

These programmes are structured to provide meaningful exposure to working life - not just observation. In 2026, we expect to welcome 14 students and two interns across the firm.

  • Shaped around causes our people genuinely care about

We believe this creates a more authentic, lasting and locally relevant impact.

Our approach to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging focuses on creating practical conditions where different people can thrive. This includes supporting neurodiversity and different ways of thinking, encouraging open conversations about workplace adjustments, and offering flexibility in how and where people work.

We provide hybrid and adaptable working arrangements, support for parents and carers, and a dedicated Menopause Policy to help colleagues feel confident and supported at different life stages. Alongside fair progression pathways and inclusive recruitment practices, this helps us build psychologically safe teams where people can grow and contribute fully.

Environmental responsibility

As a professional services firm, our environmental footprint is relatively low - but we recognise our responsibility to operate thoughtfully and reduce impact where we can.

We operate largely paperless systems using cloud‑based platforms and digital workflows to minimise reliance on physical resources. Hybrid working and collaborative technology also help reduce commuting and unnecessary travel between offices and client sites.

Across our offices, we actively recycle waste and discourage single‑use items, encouraging practical, everyday sustainability choices within our teams.

Rather than headline commitments, we focus on continuous, sensible improvements, recognising that meaningful environmental progress is achieved through consistent, incremental change.
