Celebrating the achievements and contributions of small businesses and the self-employed across the UK, and as the largest event of its kind in the small business calendar, the high-profile FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards are the most revered across all industries.

The ‘Best of the West’ small businesses gathered at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston Super Mare on 1 March 2023 to see who would become regional champions at the South West of England finals.

Across 12 possible categories, Charlton Baker were shortlisted in the top 6 businesses out of hundreds of entries for the Larger Small Business of the Year. This category is awarded to the business that has shown dedication and entrepreneurship in helping to redefine an industry, whilst demonstrating strong growth and maintaining good results, looking after its team and community, and providing excellence to its customers.

We are extremely proud and delighted to have beaten off stiff competition to be crowned the FSB’s Winner in our category! This comes after decades of dedication and building a winning team and service lines that are now officially classed as second-to-none by the UK’s most respected small business organisation.

With winners from each category securing a spot at the prestigious UK final in Birmingham in May 2023, there is a chance for Charlton Baker to be crowned the best Larger Small Business in the UK, as well as a chance to be crowned the overall UK Small Business of the Year. Watch this space!
